Losing the Marbles

It's been 2 weeks and a day since Mr. Man, AKA W4D got run over by the truck. Could one of you medical peeps email me privately or leave a comment if I still need to keep an eye on my Jaywalker? He's not acting any nuttier, no more freaky, nor obstinate, unusual, obnoxious, nor moronic than usual so I am hoping I don't need to keep watching him for signs of trauma. Thank you kindly, in advance.

Apropos since W4D got knocked cuckoo
and I am slowly but surely losing mine.

I'm not a doctor, but I play one on TV. If he's showing no signs of acting weirder than normal, you can safely return to your regular activities. Still, I think he was damned lucky.

Umm... no.... 2-3 months is more like it. The longest I've seen between injury and presentation of symptoms is 8 weeks. When we take histories... we go back 3 months for trauma..... Just think of 'keeping an eye on him' as a program that runs in the background of your mind... the only time you need to pay attention is when the program starts ringing alarm bells.... trust me... they WILL go off... After 3 months you are (relatively) safe. http://www.ninds.nih.gov/disorders/tbi/tbi.htm

Thanks for the TBI site. I will keep a watch on The Lube for a couple of months.
