We inhaled assorted cocktails, scarfed up copious amounts of bruschetta and shrimp and laughed and talked for hours. We didn't have any Jello Shooters, but I managed to coerce our guest to drink a Green Apple Martini, a Sparkletini and a rum Mojito. Those Chicago Land gals can hold their liquor.
Here's how I made Steena's Sparkletini:
Place 3 ounces of ice cold Raspberry Sparkletini in a large martini glass.
Shake 1.5 oz. of Vanilla Vodka and 1.5 oz. of Raspberry juice over ice.
Strain into tooni glass with Sparkletini
Garnish with a red ripe, locally grown winter Strawberry.
Thinking it would make us seem more pious, we walked her around our house and showed her how she could see 4 churches from our yard. I don't think it worked but it was a righteous visit. Drop by again soon, Steena!

that is so not fair. i'm just sayin'...
I can't read the Sparkletini recipe.
not fair how???? Steena
I think the "not fair" comment was made by someone who might like to come and drink cocktails with Flaurella and W4D. What "not fair" doesn't realize is that one day, we plan to crash her wedding and therefore, she's welcome to come here for cocktails.
... I'm just sayin' back....
Dear Anon who can't read the Sparkletini Recipe:
I made the print larger but if you've had any work done on your puter lately, you might want to adjust the size of your font display since if this is who I think it might be, you used to be able to read that size of font just fine. Also, I went to the new blogger format after I screwed up my old template so maybe that has something to do with it. This entry is back to the size I used to always use before the GATOR Champ post.
Cheers!
i am not at all sure why my "not fair" comment came through anonymously instead of as me. (some new blogger mess i am sure!) and yes--flaurella is right. it's just the jealousy talking...
